As the runner up, Sophie Moulds earns the titles of Miss UK and Miss World Europe as well. Moulds was crowned Miss Wales in April. Since then the 19-year-old, who bares a resemblance to the Duchess of Cambridge, has been compared to Kate Middleton. Of course Kate and William also live in Wales.

WalesOnline.com reports Moulds first runner up status is the highest any British contestant has placed in the Miss World Competition since the 1980's. “We knew a Welsh girl could do it and I hope she will inspire others from little communities around Wales to come forward – Sophie has proved we can do it," Sophie's mentor is quoted as saying.
