When that date passed, Tawanna tried set up an exchange with her ex-husband on June 4, but he didn't show, according to the report.
Now Tawanna believes that the children, ages 3 to 16, were never in North Carolina and are instead holed up in a hotel in Georgia. Tawanna, who has sole custody of the kids, is now resorting to the legal system to get the children back.
