Catherine Zeta-Jones "Broken City", Unless you’re a hardcore Mark Wahlberg fan, you may not have realized that the bulky actor has another film coming out this coming January called Broken City.
BROKEN CITY hasn’t really had a lot of press coverage so far, but today a popular magazine has released a couple of new images from the film that don’t give anything away except that Russell Crowe looks to be a bad guy which I think will be interesting to see since he doesn’t usually go for those types of characters.
Directed by Allen Hughes (and produced by Mark Wahlberg) BROKEN CITY follows an ex-cop named Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) who upon trailing the wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones) of New York City’s mayor, Nicholas Hostetler (Russell Crowe), finds himself immersed in a huge scandal. According the magazine the film is touted as being in the vein of CHINATOWN. BROKEN CITY stars: Mark Wahlberg, Russell Crowe, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kyle Chandler and Justin Chambers. BROKEN CITY hits theaters on January 18, 2013, expect to see a trailer in the next month or so.
