It appears that a few of Perry's friends called Us Weekly to give them the scoop on her painful breakup. "She's really upset about it," one friend says. "She is making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt," says another.
"I don't think either of them are trying for anything serious right now. She's not talking like he's 'The One,'" a friend told the mag a few weeks ago. "She's comfortable around guys who understand the craziness of that world, which he definitely does."
